Starting with an early morning pickup from your hotel, you'll travel through scenic valleys and local villages before embarking on your trek. Itinerary

4:00 AM Pickup

Our day begins early with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We’ll head south in a private minibus, traveling through picturesque valleys and traditional Quechua communities.

6:30 AM Breakfast at Cusipata

Enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared on-site by our experienced chef. This meal will give you the energy you’ll need for the trek ahead.

7:30 AM Start Trekking

From the trailhead, we begin our ascent through a stunning Andean landscape. Along the way, you'll spot herds of llamas and alpacas and catch glimpses of the majestic Ausangate peak. Our guides will share fascinating details about the area’s history, wildlife, and unique geological formations.

10:00 AM Reach Rainbow Mountain Summit

After approximately two hours of moderate hiking, we arrive at the summit. Take in the extraordinary views, admire the vivid stripes of the mountain, and snap plenty of photos. You’ll have 30-45 minutes to explore, relax, and take in the serene surroundings.

11:00 AM Descent to Cusipata

Start the descent back. The walk down is easier and allows time to appreciate the panoramic Andean scenery.

1:30 PM Buffet Lunch

Back in Cusipata, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring local flavors. Our chefs cater to dietary preferences—just let us know in advance.

2:30 PM Return to Cusco

Relax in our private transportation as we drive back to Cusco. You’ll arrive at your hotel by approximately 5 PM.
