Itinerary

Your adventure begins early in the morning when we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. After a scenic drive, we reach the community of Taucca, the starting point of our trek. From here, the trail ascends toward the first pass at 4,100 meters above sea level. Marvel at the beauty of Lake Piuray and the sprawling Andean landscapes.

We continue along a well-preserved Inca Trail, climbing gently to the Pukamarca Pass at 4,200 meters. From this vantage point, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Veronica, Chicon, and Pitusiray mountains, their majestic peaks adorned with snow.

Descending to the village of Pukamarca, we are welcomed by local families who preserve ancestral traditions of farming and herding. Then, the path takes us through the magical Puma Punku Canyon, a narrow passage framed by towering rock formations and ancient bridges. Passing through this corridor, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time to the days of the Incas.

Finally, we reach Huchuy Qosqo at 3,600 meters. This secluded archaeological site invites you to explore the remains of original stone structures, terraces, and storehouses—an impressive testimony to the ingenuity of the Incas.
After a guided tour and some free time to take in the stunning views, we descend for approximately 2 hours to Lamay. At Lamay, our private transport awaits to bring you back to your hotel in Cusco.
Round out your day with memories of an inspiring trek through history, culture, and nature.
