Itinerary
Your experience begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco to start the City Tour, an ideal way to discover the main historical and cultural attractions of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.
The first stop is Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most important religious centers of the Inca world. Here you will appreciate the perfect fusion of Inca architecture and colonial construction, a reflection of the encounter between two civilizations that shaped the history of Peru.
Afterward, the tour continues to the surrounding area to visit the main archaeological sites. The tour includes Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial fortress built with enormous stone blocks, offering unique panoramic views of the city of Cusco.
The next stop is Qenqo, a ceremonial center associated with religious rituals, followed by Puka Pukara, an ancient military fortress used as a checkpoint, and finally Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water, a sacred site where the Incas worshipped water and nature.
Throughout the tour, a professional guide will accompany you, explaining the history, meaning, and cultural value of each site. After the visits, you will return to the city of Cusco.
A tip for the journey: wear comfortable shoes, bring a light jacket, and don’t forget your camera. Cusco is not just visited, it’s experienced.
